Dimarzio ?

Im going to be picking up a new Guitar in the next few weeks.
Its going to have a Mahogany body and maple top and Rosewood board.

The guitar comes stock with crap pickups. Im thinking of trying a D-Sonic in the bridge and a Air Norton in the neck.

Whats the sound differences between a D-Sonic (with the bar pole piece towards the trem and towards the neck) And whats the diff between the D-Sonic and the JP Sig Steves Special Bridge Pickup?
I do own a JPEB6 and I love those pickups but for this guitar I will do some dropped tunings and I need clarity and balls and the same time! So What do I get? And what differences are when the DS is flipped? And I assume both the DS and the AN are tappable?

I know but Im lazy and I want answers from people that use those pickups not from the makers of the pickups. They will be biased to say they will sound great no matter what!

I was refering to the tapping of the pickup questions, I'm sure some of the guys here own those pickups

not much help here......... but go for the bare knuckle pups. A bit on the pricey side but worth it.
