I have two chips on my ibanez jem w7 and was told the repair will not bond to the finish . I learned to just live with it . It adds character to your guitar . Peace

I repaired my Cherry burst axis ding with a perfect blend/mixture of 4 different colored nail polishes. I was a house painter while going through college in my younger days and am very adept at color matching with many different colors. Application is also an art form. While a bit tricky it, can be done inexpensively with very good results. total cost for the nail polish was under 7 dollars. Knowing how to do it right, Priceless =). What color is your luke? If its one color it may be very easy to color match. With my cherry burst it was a bit tricky.

Cheers,

Tom

Well your best bet if it is bothering you that much would be to take to a really good tech. The problem though is that a Poly finish is close to impossible to make a perfect repair on unlike a Nitro finish, which is thinner and softer and an invisible finish repair is possible. But in the hands of someone truly talented a Poly repair can be hard to detect.
