I've heard nothing but great things about the Sterling line of guitars...

you'll be surprised to know that Sterling (Big Papa) owner of Music Man and Pat (PatPark) owner of Sterling by Music Man are very active here on the forum so if you have any questions or commenst about the guitars they are here and will see them and more often than not respond... (but don't PM them unless they ask you to) and last but not least... the guitar doesn't exist without Pics- its our motto with just about everything. new pet dog... doesn't exist without pics, new girlfriend... she doesn't exist without pics... etc.
but welcome nonetheless and hope your new guit lasts you a long time! They're amazing instruments!

I'd be interested to hear your review. The Sterling by Music Man guitars seem to be a great line of guitars at that particular price point. At least, that's what I thought when I got my hands on a JP50 at Guitar Center.
