I guess there could be some heated bidding for those parts. If someone buys the body, bridge and plate they are going to be pretty determined to get the neck. Let's put it on our watch list and see. I wonder where the pups, controls and control plate are?

Hehheh. It's me again! Here's another case!

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=bigbass430&include=0&since=-1&sort=3&rows=50

As of the time I'm writing, the lowest price for all the parts combined totals to around 950. It's a 1978 bass, so I guess it's kinda of a deal???? Hmm...

Anyway, it seems like the parts themselves have been banged up quite a bit. The body has been badly repainted and the truss rod in the neck has been replaced.

In my uninformed opinion, I think this is a... rip off!!! Sure, it's a 1978 MM bass, but it's been banged up a bit, dissassembled, and being sold for a bit higher than usual. I can see how this will serve quite well for those doing their own projects, though.

Heh. Any comments, anyone? :p

That poor bass has been effed up beyond repair and this guy is parting it out because he thinks the effed up parts are worth more than the effed up bass.

And he might be effin right about that, but it still makes me want to bitch-slap him/her.
