Hi everyone,

This is my first post, having been a member and infrequent browser for a long time!! (and an EBMM owner for longer than that!)

I have a quick question... what kind of window is there between the announcement that an instrument/colour will be discontinued by the good folks at EBMM and the final order being taken for that guitar?

I don't want to seem like a kiss ASS [ ;) ] but I'm continually impressed by the sense of family and friendship on this forum generated by the players and EBMM staff!

Thanks,

LittleNeil

usually, when they announce they are discontinuing a color, they announce the cut off date as well. it's a good idea to order it a little sooner, lest your order get delayed or lost between the retailer and the distributor.

I'm finding that EBMM does make some number of "one-offs". I came across a burnt apple Axis (floyd) with a factory tone knob (different location than an ASS) recently. I'm on the fence about buying it (expensive) but it was very neat coming across it in a music shop last week.

where do you look to find out when they will discontinue a color or when they will introduce one back?

You keep your eye open here. Namm is in January and they usually post from Namm when they can, pictures and info.
