About 3 weeks ago (week of April 24), I helped organize a gathering in Big Sur for Bose PAS-1 users (like myself), the Bose live music inventors-engineers and other affiliates. A wonderful gathering of various musicians from around the world came (such as the legendary Steve Miller and other notables).

One of the fellows from Houston brought a Luke and ran it through the Bose with a PODxt Live and he let me try it out. ... I was blown away with how it both played and sounded. That's what lead me to instantly purchase one for myself. (I've just had my Luke about two weeks, but have already played it on 9 gigs...)

Anyhow... If you're curious, here's the fun link with four pages of great photos from the event. Including the Big Sur Native female dancers...
(oh, I'm Joseph on the site...):

Sometimes I wish My amp would die so I would have an excuse to get the Bose amplification system. It is one of the best sounding things I have ever heard and would be perfect for my situation. (Except I like to play in stereo so I would need 2 of them.....Crop)

Thanks for the welcome Lenny... hope I can contribute to this great forum in one way or another... you're so right.... I'm totally taken right now with the Music Man (thinking a lot of my axes will be on the open market soon...)

Norm.... here's the first thread I ever posted on Bose forum.... it's gotten a lot of hits from folks curious about how the system might work for guitar ...

Thanks for the cool welcome Bentrocks... the Bose system for live music does the very same thing as the Wave radio does.. radiates sound instead of beaming it... truly amazing!

And thanks for the 'felicitations' Pastrami... the Luke is truly a unique axe... wish I would of been hip to it years ago... it's so much fun to play...

Ah, NorM's on this thread (finally found you)... Very glad to meet you NorM. (I just realized I've actually responded to you before, but didn't recognize the case sensitve spelling...)

Yes, the Bose is the Bomb... hope you get to experience using it live one of these days. It makes a huge difference which is immediately noticable, both to yourself and the other guys in the band.
