Looks like this was just uploaded. If any of you are unfamiliar with SM affiliation with the Dixie Dregs - scan this video. Steve really is a rare blend of rootsy soulful melody with chops-from-hell when he feels it. I've just recognized a Jeff Beck influence in him watching this.

Oh, yes, if it sounds like I'm preaching to the converted....perhaps I'm just trying to reach the back row. Enjoy.

Nice find! Actually got to see SM play at Toad's Place a few years ago when I went down to visit Pete & Tommy. Good times.

Lucky guy. I've seen him live twice - 20 years apart....was underage at a bar the first time....unfortunatly - not underage anymore.

I really hate to bring this up in the current world of youtube dominance, BUT....this video is ripped from the DVD Sects, Dregs and Rock and Roll. It is copyrighted material. Artists have a hard enough time making a living these days. Please buy the DVD. It also includes an amazing show from New York that is mostly Steve playing solo and with Dave Larue.

Donning flame retardant suit now.
