Haven't purchased anything from Ceriatone primarily because of the awesome shipping cost to get the stuff here. You do know they are located in Singapore right? I've read good things about them though, and their stuff seems to be high quality. I was considering purchasing and 18W TMB board from them. There are also the Weber kits, and you can go ala cart with them and delete lots of stuff, or substitute things like Heyboer or mercury iron in place of the Weber import iron. They also sell chassis kits, and from what I understand they're making their non-aluminum chassis out of stainless steel.
Don't know what a Ceriatone DC30 is? Is it the Matchless C-30 clone, the Dizzy 30? ( I googled it and it sure is) And it looks like a fairly simple amp to build, not too tough.
Here's what it sounds like completed [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8puKhHM0SwE"]YouTube- CERIATONE MUCHLESS DIZZY 30 - NOH KUBLAI KHAN[/ame] pardon the foreign language.
Recently I've done a couple of Deluxe Reverbs, a Hoffman turret boarded Princeton Reverb, and a Champ. Presently working on another Champ. Mostly using Mojo chassis or Noojwut chassis. I source my builds from different places. Ceriatone has the pre-assembled board option, which to me kind of takes the fun out of it. But it's an option to lessen the assembly time. I don't know if they have a forum for web support, but there are forums here in the US that can handle any of the help you need to complete a DIY amp. There's the ampgarage, Hoffmans forum and Weber's kitbuilding forum, etc.. Can't say enough good things about the guys that habitate the forums.
Probably would be a good idea to post this question on one of those forums . You'd probably get a buckload of answers and better discussion. I don't think there's too many amp builders on this forum.
I built a few of the Metro amp kits. Super support from George and the forum there. Great quality too. I really wanted to do one of the Bruce Egnater amp build clinics, another great product and support person. Moved from Michigan so I didn't take the opportunity when it was so close.
