Do EB do any "half gauge" strings? e.g. 9.5

I've recently started using 9.5 gauge strings on my Strat Plus and like the comprimise between 9s & 10s.

Do Ernie Ball do any half gauges? I've never seen any.

Not sure but they have the biggest availability of singles so you can make your own gauge. Any good official retailer would stocks lots of these.

You should - espcially the 9.5 which I use a lot of. I have to use Daddario or GHS

My understanding is that a half gauge is in the tolerance of a full gauge string. So you could buy a 9.5 and a 9 and find that the 9.5 is actually lighter than the 9 and still be in tolerance.

I've used 9.5 for years and can say I don't think this is true. They're great if you like the bending of 9s but would like the tone just a little fatter. I've replaced a 9.5 single to a set of 9-42, this can work great, adds a little beef to the high notes. I do this with my Lukes.
