OK I was just wondering if we have all the new products for this year...sorry I'm not really up on this NAMM stuff, infact I haven't even heard about it till this year. I thought it was a veterans homecoming :D Anyhoo, can we get a list of all the new product lines? Is there any SUB1 news? What about this Buttercream, can I get that to go please :D (where's Dirk when you need him!)

Think that's it Raz. Buttercream, the stealth Bongo, the Rosewood Axis and no HSH Pacific Blue Burst Luke *sniff* :(

The new Morse's are stunning though. Is the Deluxe going to stay around a few years. I want t oget the Axis first and can't see me ordering the Morse for a year or two....

LOL! That's funny then, those GC outlets that sold their SUB 1's for 1/2 price...and for what...no NEW SUB 1 (thank goodness)

Yeah- but we still haven't seen the colours for the new Morse (just the ones from the live shows ...) and don't know all the options. (Only saying this as I'm waiting so I can make a purchase!)

I think there is only gonna be 3 color selections for the new Morse. According to the news release anyway. I forgot the names of them. One was De-Purple burst, Tobacco Burst (I think) and some other burst color.....the news release put out some detailed info about the pup config and what not......

EDIT - Here is a cut and paste of the info from the news release...hope this helps.

Updated features will include a poplar body with maple top in flame or quilt , cream binding and a solid black finish on the back of the guitar. Three DI-Marzio pickups in H-S-H configuration features a new custom wound single coil pickup in the middle position. A 2-way toggle and 3-way lever switch controls various pickup selection options.

Another feature will allow guitarists to alter the 3-way lever through the control cavity on the back. A jumper connection can be manipulated without soldering to change the pickup sequence from bridge, neck, and middle to the more traditional pickup sequence bridge, middle, and neck.

The Y2d will come in three exciting new translucent finish options; Purple Sunset, De-Purple Burst and Tobacco Sunburst. To accent the overall appearance, this instrument will have a clear pickguard to show its beautiful grain. A slimmer neck profile will be standard issue, faithfully recreated from Steve Morse's number one stage guitar from 1985. This particular neck has seen eight refrets and 20 years of worldwide stage and studio use.

Current list price including case will be $2,095 (standard bridge) and $2,245 with tremelo. The original Steve Morse model will still be available at the current retail of $1,765 (standard) and $1,915 (tremelo) .

Thanks Koogs. I saw that, but the SM prototype Steve was playing didn't have the binding. So secretly wondered if that was an option :) Also I've seen pics with all black pickups and some with zebra coils.

I've seen a pic of the Tobacco burst and I think the de-purple burst (assuming that was the one Steve was playing), but haven't seen the "Purple Sunset". (Or maybe I've got those two backwards).

I have typical engineer's syndrome ... need to see every possible option before I can buy anything :p

Dear Music Man,

Can we get a quilt or flame maple top on a Petrucci? Please. :)

That would be my ultimate guitar. I love my Green JP6, but I secretly wish it was stained translucent rather than painted.

I have been after a quilted Pet for a while now....no go. Too bad. I think they would be killer. Just have to wait 'em out I think....

Beej...I know what you mean. I would love to see every viable option they are gonna offer. Just thought I would post that to help anyone out. I haven't seen the tobacco burst...you got a link? If so, quit being stingy and post it bro!

I wouldn't hold your breath on that one, since the Petrucci body is more formed (rounded) than the Morse. But you never know. ;)

Good God...whoever took that picture was WAAAAYYYY too excited with themselves! I can't really blame them...look at those beauties! I did see that pic before, just could not tell that was the Morse. I probably skipped by it because of the "shaky" pic it turned out to be.....oh well, beggars can't be chosers it seems! Thanks.
