OK, so I am a gear ho... and a fickle **** at that. But I know good basses... And I currently have a gaggle of EBMM basses and I love each and every one of them in their own way. I have two classic Sabres.... brilliant sounding basses. One is tuned to Eb and I gig it regularly with my weekend band... round wounds and lots o sizzle. My other is tuned to E and wears flats.... this is my old school funk and thump mutha. I have a newish three band Stingray ash maple that has Cobalt flats and that bass is my school yard bully. He will beat your ass for your milk money and he dont even drink milk ya dig. Then I have two SR5's.. one H and the other HH.
I have been turned out by the SR5 H since I played my first one back in the early 90's. The SR5 is MY bass and my H model is home to me.... LOVE IT. Now this new kid... the HH, I am new to the HH party. Took me a while to figure that one out but I have recently and reluctantly started turning knobs a wee bit on that beast and the possibles are amazing and endless. I just spent the better part of two hours getting lost in that bass like I have not done in a VERY long time. It will move to the top of the batting order this weekend.

In addition to those beauties I have two NEW EBMM basses on order.... A Classic Stingray ASH/Maple and a Sterling 5 Ash/Maple. Those two are my dream basses.... I am doing my best to be patient but I cant wait for these two....

Thanks for listening to me gush.... back to your regular programming....

Sounds like an awesome stable. And it makes me feel fiscally responsible for having only four EBMMs. So thank you for that. :)

Very awesome. The only reason one of my 3 basses is not an MM is it's a '73 Fender Precision Fiesta Red refin that I've had since the age of 19 (I have not owned anything else for that long...not even the wife, house, and career), it has a colored history with me (had to use it once to swing my way out of a bar fight rumble at a gig), and it's worth a whole lot more today than the $300 I spent to buy it (because, in 1979, if it wasn't pre-CBS, it wasn't worth crap).
