I don't own one but I've played through an El Diablo 100 several times. They're fantastic amps! Very flexible and versatile for "just" a 2 channel amp and the build quality seems to be very high indeed.

Did you have specific questions?

If so, I'll do what I can to help, ok?

All the best,

Steve.

great !!! but why ? if you can explain

I just had a terrible experience with them. I should have known it would be a nightmare when I ordered it. They were shaky on the delivery date, it went wrong a whole load of times. In fact the output transformer failed! It took them an eternity to fix it, and when it came back, it did not sound right at all. Their Customer service is non existant and the covering just falls off when you look at it.

Other than that, go ahead and buy one! :)

Genz-Benz rock. I use their G-Flex 2x12 and that's a great cab. Even if the other guys in Rough Justice do call it the "Gender Bender"!

Beacuse the Soverign is a very flexable amp, and sounded great. But it was a terrible waste of £1600 in the end. I had to get rid of it.

I forgot to mention that all the valves were microphonic too! After years of valve amp use, I decided to go all modern. I got a couple of Line 6 Duoverb Combo's and have not looked back since! They are much more reliable on the whole, and sound the same night after night. Plus you get a tuner, wah, volume on the FBV board and a beautiful DI on the back. If I had to replace my rig, I would buy a Genz-Benz 2x12 like the Stoners and a HD147 head. Mikes got this and his rig sounds sweet.
