DOB for Axis Sport....thanks!!!!!

Hello everyone!!!!!! Newbie here,i just bought a used Axis Sport and was wondering what year it is? The serial # is G05277. Also is has 2 P-90 looking pickups with a battery compartment in the back!!!!! Are they active? Thanks for all the help!

DOB 2/16/99 The battery is for the silent circuit. You won't get the 60 cycle hum that you would get with single coil pickups

I just wanted to add that my Axis Sport is the best guitar i`ve ever had and i had ALOT of guitars by different companies!!!!! I couldn`t be any happier!
