I just purchased my first Music Man guitar and I am loving it! It was an Ebay purchase that was "new old stock" Axis Sport with MM90's.
The serial # is G04536.
It was in new condition with the exception of the volume pot feeling loose and having a very limited range of actual output, it goes from almost nothing to full blast in about 1/2 a turn. Other than that it plays and sounds great. I plan to replace both volume and tone pots.
Has anybody experimented with different value pots and cap, or just stuck with the 500K pots and .022 cap?
