I was just wondering if the BFR JP6 fits in the regular MM JP6 case? If so, I'm gonna order one that way I don't scuff up my BFR case, even though its got a couple scuff marks from when GC had it but its all good, not a biggie ;). Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

It fits perfectly!
I bought a regular MM case for the exact reasons :)

But... Cases are there to scuff.

True, but the BFRs and the annual Limited Editions come with "presentation" type G&G cases. I know that my 2007 LE's case is either very soft blue tolex or thin blue leather. I'm a hobby/play at home guy so it's fine, but if I was gigging it wouldn't hold up like the standard molded case would. Also, the molded case is about half the weight of the G&G.

I was planning on the same thing. However, I received an EBMM gig bag recently. So, that will suffice for now.

Yeah. fsmith brought his BFR Luke with sparkle back all the way from Maryland to Desert Domination in an EBMM gig bag. Now, that takes balls. ;)

Gigbag is better than carrying around a heavy case all day!

Plus, if you've got a good one.. no harm can come to your guitar.

I've never seen the EBMM one, though.. pics?

I just threw some knick-knacks in the pocket to kind of give an indication of how roomy the pocket is.

True. Plus, they're so much heavier than the regular SKB case. Why would I want to carry one of those things around?

My thoughts exactly. The case is a beast. When we used to play shows with my old band, I used to use the SKB MM hardshell cases and they were super durable and could take a beating.
