.....share the same body?
When I look at pictures they look to be the same shape but the Petrucci seems to be more sculpted. Is it an illusion because of the pickguard on the Silo?
I remember seeing some video clips of JP talking about the shape of the body for hand placement, the chamfers, etc..

Not even close other than they share the strat style shape.
The Silhouette is actually more sculpted, and the JP had a big wedge taken out where your forearm rests.

Oops! That's what I meant. The Silo is more contoured is what I should have said. I love the shape of the Pet.

Actually the body dimensions are DRASTICALLY different....put them on a stand next to each other and you can SEE the difference (the silo stands a lil taller due to the body shape), and I'm not talking arm contours here...the horns are different lengths, the thickness and neck joints are different...the neck width at the nut is different, fret size is different, neck contour is different, I could go on....why do i know this? I own both.

The two on the right are awaiting...surgery...hahaha. The Silo is on it's way to the Head Jardinero in Charge in Repairville...but yeah they all sound different...which is cool I have choices...I tried to match the tuning to the tone...the DG stays in standard and as soon as i get another trem-no it will do drop d as a fixed bridge too...
