Now those look good and I guess that I can reuse some of my left over George L cable with them... will have to dig out the solder gun!
Thanks for all the input guys, in fact I already own some planet wave patch cables, they are good but the problem has always been the size of the right angle plugs and the chunkyness and lack of "twistyness" of the cable... the price of a busy pedalboard!

FYI splirby, GLS make's those right angle plugs as well - I find them a bit cheaper (in price) and they have a tab for lead and ground (switchcraft you ground to the casing inside).

Does anyone know where I can get 2.1mm/5.5mm right angle DC power plugs? Also some bulk cable that goes with them? I hate 'rolling' up excess DC line and would prefer to just make my own custom length (ah - learning to solder is quite liberating), thanks in advance to anyone with some insight here...

I agree......I have a pretty simple set up and the Dimarzio cables sound great to me!

I've been using the Planet Waves cables and plugs for the past 4 years without any problems. I highly recommend them.
