Hey guys - I have had good experiences with a number of EBMM dealers, including Bass Central, but let's not forget that our own contributing member, bassplyr, AKA Doug, is indeed an authorized EBMM dealer and will definitely treat you right when you're ready to buy your next Stingray/Sterling/Bongo.

I ordered my Limited Edition Green Machine Mofo Bongo from him and while the wait is killing me, the price and customer service was excellent.

So...support your local (well, you know what I mean) dealer, okey dokey?

And if I haven't mentioned it lately, thanks, Doug!

yeah, great advice, for those who live in the neighberhood.
I always buy my gear from a little local shop, cheap, good service, the only irritating thing is that you have to wait a LONG time before you get your stuff, but hey, it's cheap:) And I sometimes get discounts on strings and stuff like that :D

I'll keep Bassplyr in mind for my future gear needs.

1. I like to support small business
2. I hate my local music store
3. Bassplyr's a MM dealer!

:D

I wonder if he takes trades?

Do you think he'd trade for other things? Like old school bartering in the spirit of backwoodsmen and trappers?

My father used to practice surgery where we lived in vermont and he would sometimes get paid in wood for operating on people.

Do you he might want one of my dogs? I no longer have the time to play with both of them. He is a good dog-- a bit excitable but very loyal.

Doug, if you are listening, I would be happy to trade one of my dogs for a bongo-- or another 'ray.

yes--

it came about from another thread. I have been searching for a while for the perfect sig and at least for now I think I may have found it. It really speaks to me.

Incidentally if you google "Spinal Tap quotes" there are a bunch of good sites.

I was torn between that quote and the exchange between Nigel and David St. Hubbins where they say, "people should envy us.... I envy us.... yea I envy us too."

Man that is funny.

HELLO CLEVELAND!

my bad

said exchange was between Derek Smalls (the Bassist-- no less) and David St. Hubbins:

Derek Smalls: We're lucky.
David St. Hubbins: Yeah.
Derek Smalls: I mean, people should be envying us, you know.
David St. Hubbins: I envy us.
Derek Smalls: Yeah.
David St. Hubbins: I do.
Derek Smalls: Me too
