great!!! as a hardcore DT fan i must say, i prefer the vocals of your singer more then james version of this song.
did you learn the solo on a regular tuned guitar first, so that you would have to adapt it to the C-tuning or is there any other reason for changing the guitar for the solopart?

Thank you!

@joe web: I opted to play the solo on the standard tuning for 2 reasons. One of them being what you mentioned, I was already comfortable playing it on E-Standard before I got the Blue Dawn (which I now use as my C-Standard guitar). The other reason is that I'm using 4 wound strings on the Blue Dawn, instead of 3 wound/3 plain most of us are used to. This has to due with some issues I was having using the think plain "G" string from the "Not Even Slinky" pack on this particular tuning. It's all explained on another thread, but anyway, long story short, the wound string fixed the issue but made bending on this string different from bending the plain one, which made it impossible to accurately perform a specific part of this solo.

Very nice! Your vocalist reminds me a bit of Myles Kennedy, especially when he sings, "the way I play!!" at around the 4:00 mark...lol!

Fantastic! You really nailed JPs rhythm tone. And like Joe, i prefer your vocalist's tone to JL.

Seriously fantastic!!!

Love these videos and I love this song. Really well done. Great playing by all involved. Count me among those who especially loved your singer's performance, as well.

Bravo!
