Driving Music Suggestions

Hey,

I have long drive ahead of me this weekend and am in need of some new rockin' tunes to listen to along the way.

Right now I'm listening a lot to U2 Achtung Baby and Dire Straits Making Movies ....these are great albums...but they'll only get me so far. So my question is...what is your favourite music to listen to while you drive??

Give me some suggestions.....thanks.

Well, I don't know if this is necessarily your kind of thing, but I'm a Dream Theater fanboy. So, that's pretty much what I usually listen to in my vehicle. Their latest CD, "Systematic Chaos," is getting a lot of play in my car. I'm also a JP fanboy. So, his "Suspended Animation" gets a lot of play in my car as well.

Recently, though, I've been throwing in some old Red Hot Chili Peppers, Maxwell, Diana Krall, and Stevie Wonder.

Really? Spice girls?

Hmmmm....I'd put Spice girls in the category of CD's I'd be embarrassed for my friends to see.....sorta like my Michael Jackson and Abba CD's.

I'm thinking that Rush would by good to drive to.

Check out Buckethead for some good driving music too; Binge and Grab, Nottingham Lace, Nun Chuka Kata, those are a few good ones from him
