Which one is better for Drop C djenty stuff, e.g., Periphery, Intervals, etc., the JP15 or Majesty? I mainly wanted clear note separation, not muddy, and tightness in low tunings. Assume that we're going to use the stock pups (e.g., illuminators and dc/rm)

You're very deep into splitting hairs with how they'll compare tonally for this particular application. Either will get you nicely into the ballpark and neither will mean excessive amp tweaking versus the other.

I'd say get the one that looks coolest and/or plays most comfortably (which for me would be the JP15 by a nose).

maybe you can dig a little in tonewood and difference between bolt neck and neckthrough for your application.
You'll have to file the nut or change it I guess for C

They would sound basically the same for what you want. You'd be better served with a longer scale guitar (27" or above).
