Does it have the same pickups as the regular Axis, which were the same as the EVH?

I've been kind of fascinated by this guitar since Open House :cool:

Yeah, they're the same pickups, but remember that the rosewood neck (and to some lesser extent the top) make this a totally different sounding guitar.

And that neck feels soooooooooooo damn good. :)

Cool, it's that "different sound" that has got me so curious!

Anyone know if this is here to stay? Or just a limited edition?

The rosewood Axis is not a limited edition. I don't know if it'll be around forever, but it's definitely not a limited edition like the buttercream, envy green, etc.
