Dumb Question About the Rosewood Axis

Does it have the same pickups as the regular Axis, which were the same as the EVH?

I've been kind of fascinated by this guitar since Open House

Basswood Body w/Rosewood top, solid Rosewood neck.
A delightful instrument.
I'd suggest purchasing one.

Everything is the same as the Axis models, with Rosewood being the only difference. Pricing is even the same!

Yeah, they're the same pickups, but remember that the rosewood neck (and to some lesser extent the top) make this a totally different sounding guitar.

And that neck feels soooooooooooo damn good.

Anyone know if this is here to stay? Or just a limited edition?

The rosewood Axis is not a limited edition. I don't know if it'll be around forever, but it's definitely not a limited edition like the buttercream, envy green, etc.

I was really hoping it was a limited edition... But I guess it's a standard offering, at least for a while.
