Duncan Invader

Well I put a Duncan Invader in my Silo Special and so far very happy. I thought the 36th was a little too dark....especially in the lower register. Toyed with the idea of trying the Humbucker from Hell but decided to go with the Invader. I had one years ago but was hesitate to try it again since it is a high output pickup and my playing style has changed a lot. The Invader is brighter and has more clarity......wasn't expecting that at all. Anyway here is a pic of the transformation.....took the covers off the single coils and put black knobs to complete the look!

I have used the Invader many of times with always having pleasing results. Overall its a good pickup.. My new favorite one from the Duncan line is the Alternative 8. That Pickup is just Mind Blowing!!!
