This may sound crazy, but, I'm goin' nuts waiting for my axis (in for repair) even though I've got a bunch of other nice guitars to play!!

Although Jon and everyone at EBMM have been super with me and VERY accomodating (In fact, I've been blown away by the level of service there) I have been lost without my Axis! :(

I guess that says a lot about how great a guitar it is. Don't get me wrong, my other guitars are nice, but that Axis is just so darn.......comfy.

Does that make sense?

thanks for listening, I'll sob quietly now....

Makes perfect sense. That is why you should buy a EBMM back-up and a EBMM back-up for the back-up, then you would not be in this perdicament....eheheheheh

woah ... bummer dude. i feel for ya.

im sending my sterling in pretty soon for repair and im sure ill go thru the same anguish. thank god ive been playing 6 striong more lately, so hopefully i wont miss it too much while it gets fixed up

I agree with Koogie2k, buy maybe not to his extent, maybe just one backup. :p

Scott.

I can always count on my forum friends for new and creative ways to steal the food from children's mouths! :p

Honestly, If I could do it all over again I'd also have me a nice trans orange MM90 with piezo and rosewood board..

To dream......

I'll just have to be satisfied with looking longingly at my Axis screen saver and try my best not to bug Jon anymore. (I'm scared that if I keep pestering him he'll put some crazy glue in my machine heads! ..kidding, Jon)

I bought 2 identical axis SS hardtails because I coulden't stand to be without one. my wife thinks I'm nuts.

hmmph! What does she know?..

Will you marry me?

My wife kinda understands but 2 Axis could force me onto the couch permanently-especially since I've got a bunch of other instruments I should be playing.

I could always use some extra dobro or mandolin practice!

Jon, if you're watching, any news yet or is it "back to the banjo" for me? ;)

Hi,
Is it the Axis or Axis Super sport that is in for repair? If it's A.S.S which configuration? Just ought of curiosity and if you don't mind me asking, what went wrong with the guitar that requiered repair?

I too am struggling wating for my New Axis Super Sport which I ordered last month.

Songman,
If you only ordered it last month, you're in for a little wait. Your patience will be rewarded though.

It's not unusual to wait 3 or 4 months until an order is filled.

Hang in there bro, do like me and count sheep!

BTW my axis is a SS w/piezo upgrade flame top..a beauty

Dude, very nice. Be sure to post that link to the Picture Post sticky.
