OK... I'm not sure what happened earlier this morning on the Forum, and I know that people are flesh and lash out… but as probably the only one here who still doesn't own an EBMM... I stand behind Sterling and his company 100%

Through my reading about Sterling, and talking with those he does business with him... he is an upright man who has done a lot for the music industry and for the greater mankind. He does this with no ulterior motive other than to make the world a better place. I admire his charitable works with the CLB Foundation and his continual efforts to support emerging musicians and their dreams. Even when they try to sell their prizes on eBay.
For me personally Mr. Ball was kind and generous back in the day when I didn't know who "BP" was on the forum and would send him Private Messages asking about information in regards to OLP guitars. BP... Remember the non-stop questions I had? He respectfully answered all my questions. And I'm sure he was frustrated when I continued to ask questions... and he was beyond polite.

BP... I'm sure I can speak for everyone here as true Forumites we appreciate your involvement here on the Forum and through supporting local music and through the CBL Foundation. We appreciate all of you and the EBMM Family has done for us as Musicians.

So in closing... MR. STERLING BALL... THANK YOU!

I remember when I first heard his use of the word "knucklehead" and I kinda took exception to it. I have a smirk everytime I now hear him use it.

I love this place but with any more episodes akin to what went on today, i'd be afraid that he'd "pull the plug" on the forum!!

NO NO NO the plug is cemented in...This is a worldwide audience and sometimes dust ups are going to happen...I think that all I wanted to say was give Kevin a chance to defend himself...what if the neckplate shows up at the guys door tommorow?

I do what I do and especially with the CLB I would prefer the foundation to get the accolades.

If that neckplate shows up at his place tomorrow I hope it's broke.

Still, there is all kinds of very cool things Big Poppa and EBMM have done. I know first hand several things.

Still, cool post peterd79. Very classy indeed.

Ha! I got a real chuckle out of that one Koogs!

Hey, if BP was here right now, I'd give the big guy a hug.

awwwwwwwww..............group hug. Can ya feel the love?

Seriously though, if it hadn't been for EBMM, I'm not convinced I'd have the motivation to do what I'm doing now - writing this post! I jest! The company and this board have both directley and indirectly encouraged me to keep going, to keep trying and to be inspired. That's worth more than money!

See this is what i'm talking about...

Mr. Ball,
It's unfortunate that todays events took place and that someones skewed opinion of you and your company was aired in such in unprofessional matter, and it's unfdortunate that he showed very little respect towards you. I wish he knew how genuine you are and how giving you are. I truly admire your Charity work... and your humility and humbleness to defer all personal recognition to the charity. Thanks again for all you do...

I had my troll a$$ kickin' boots on today and they went into overdrive. I did a river dance show on him for sure.....LOL....

Peterd...again, very nice post and we all feel the same way. Sometimes my bad side comes out...and when it does....well, you saw what happens.

It is too bad that people who are this way don't know Big Poppa's generosity and other great works outside of the business. I wish the world was full of Big Poppa's.....it can sure use it.

Although I don't know any one well yet, I think Kevin is a stand up guy and deserves every benefit of doubt IMHO. He's been very helpfull to me.

As a side bar, we have a French friend and alot of the stuff we have mailed/sent has ended up missing, it never arrives. I think the French mail system or French Customs is unreliable, no offense to anyone here that is French.

Hmm. . . Jeez . . . OMG . . . . Wow. . . .

I have so much stress in my job that when I visit forums like this I am looking for a laugh and a smile and some good gear talk. This whole conversation has really been a bummer to read.

I guess I'll go play my EBMM EVH and try and make myself happy again - always seems to work for me.
