At first, I felt bad for the guy and I hoped he would tone it down, get his problem solved, and show some gratitude.

Then, when he demonstrated that he was unable to show a little restraint and follow some protocol, I actually laughed. He just went into self-destruct mode, and there was no saving him from himself.

I hope Kevin chimes in when he's back from China. I'd guess that
1) the broken backplate did indeed have to be returned and was not.
2) the credit card information never came either.

It is indeed a shame that the guy slit his own throat by taking a shot at everyone around him.. whether he felt 'wronged' by EBMM or not, he certainly had no business showing up here and slamming the regulars (BP included). I can't figure out how someone who considers themself 'smart' would take such a boneheaded course of action and expect his desired outcome.

But enough talk of trolls... Dallas is approaching! Everybody woodshed!:D

ok... this thread has now taken a slight turn toward us venting and not the real reson behind it...

It's to show BP some gratitude and let him know how much we appreciate him. It's not to continue to bash the "TROLL" though he deserves every word that was directed towards him... this is all about BP...

Let's just tell BP how much we appreciate him and his charitable heart...

I had my troll a$$ kickin' boots on today and they went into overdrive. I did a river dance show on him for sure.....LOL....

Peterd...again, very nice post and we all feel the same way. Sometimes my bad side comes out...and when it does....well, you saw what happens.

It is too bad that people who are this way don't know Big Poppa's generosity and other great works outside of the business. I wish the world was full of Big Poppa's.....it can sure use it.

And you're pretty great as well, Koogs!:) I know if I ever found myself in a battle I'd want you by my side.;)

what if the neckplate shows up at the guys door tommorow?

I was thinking the same thing when the guy posted his original post and started mouthing off to people, but l expected if it did he wouldn't be bad on here saying opps sorry, my fault, and l hope he never gets a replacement part.

I think that all I wanted to say was give Kevin a chance to defend himself...

Well, we were only hearing one side of the story, and we found out he was holding back info in his story which alot of people knew from the beginning, poor guy didn't get a chance to defend himself.

But by posting on here BP, you leave yourself open to any idiot who doesn't go through the proper channels and starts whinging about any everyday problem, I'm hoping it doesn't happen alot, and l thank you for taking time out of your busy day to come on here and shoot the sh!t with us all, and that extenses to your staff as well. Hell we even have Luke on here from time to time.

Even though l don't know alot of you personally, l know alot of you through your guitars and just everyday chitchat, and l wish l could of been there at the openhouse to actually meet some of you face to face.

Anyway,

Cheers,

Scott.

It’s like the front row heckler: do you waste a perfectly good guitar finish by knocking his teeth out, or just go on playing?

I had a beer thrown over my EVH the first night I played it live. I didn't use my guitar as a weapon, but he got a size 10 doc marten right in the chest. Let me tell you it would have really hurt.

I don't own an EBMM yet either, but it's in the works. I always thought BP's reference to knuckleheads was a Three Stooges thing, and I LOVE the the Three Stooges! Remember Grito spelled backwards is Otr-g-g!
I have a lot of respect for BP, as well as other forumites on this website. Everyone is very helpful and patient with eachother. And it's been mentioned a million times, but how often is it that the owner of the company communicates on a forum. Special place I tell you, special.
And have you felt the neck of an AXIS? DAMN!
That's all I have to say about that.
