I used to have a book Ultimate Guitar. In it I remember a pic of a Blue Silo with a big Ernie Ball eagle graphic on the body.I think it was made for the Silos debut or just after, and maybe I'm right thinking half a dozen were made like this?
anyway,I thought it looked the biz and I'd love it on my desktop.any pics and info on what became of this(these?)guitars

I couldnt see anything on google.didnt search the boards but it'd be nice for anyone who hasn't seen it.

birds of prey and musicman guitars-both hunter killers :D

Those were done in 1987 if my memory serves me correctly. They were VERY few made and done in Super Slinky Pink, Regular Lime and Extra Blue. They went over like lead balloons and now are desirable...go figura....

This one looks like it has the optional (at the time) Wide neck... I always thought it was a pretty cool looking guitar myself... :)

......... Strange it was not popular.

I would have to guess that if this guitar had came out a few years earlier, it would have done really well. Bright colours were most fashionable in the early to middle eighties.
As "grunge" started to become poplular, everything went to black and other conservative colours.
