Earthwood bass guitars

I inherited a beautiful Earthwood acoustic bass. She sounds great, looks great. I'd like to be able to track down the production date. Does anyone know of any resources for this?

It says that they were made from 1972 to 1985 and that #500 was the first and #1052 was the last.

It sounds like the 8" depth were only made in 1972 and they went to a 6" depth in 1973.
