My wife and children went to a birthday party this afternoon and I was left at home with a video camera and my guitars.....

I took it upon myself to record my new Ernie Ball Wah, my SUB1, and my BFR AL , (Which I'm now in love with and can't understand why I wanted to sell it!)

The purpose of this video was for me to hear myself as I've no way of recording until my M-Audio stuff shows up.. the other things was to see how my US guitars sounded with my SOVTEK Mig 50 that I go last week - I wanted one of these when they were out, but didn't have the cash, this one came up cheap and I love it,

Hope you like the vid, For those who subscribe to my you tube page: - I think your mentally ill! - but you should be used to my playing and videos by now, everyone else, these are made without care or attention to key, rythmn, editing, or anything else that runs parallel with quality, but I had a blast, and to quote a wise man - i just "played the damn thing" - and it felt really good...

Enjoy/laugh / feel free to comment, the tone suits me, and I don't do the balls justice, but there aren't a lot of BFR vids out there, and hopefully this will help rather than get me a letter from Wonderdog telling me to remove them as I'm reducing sales!!!!

Smelly.

Cool video Smelly. I'm surprised the Sub1 sounds so sweet! (makes me regret even more that I sold it... :( ). Never sell that AL. It's not only good looking, also good sounding. :)

Go Smelly Ray! (I thought I was having a flashback for a minute, but it's been a long time since the '70s.)

Your a kind man colin, but the devil is like the stig, he never sleeps, and goes like a rocket!!!!!

Nice work Smelly. One day that BFR will be mine :D

I'll see you right - signed A4 ok?

Go Smelly Ray! (I thought I was having a flashback for a minute, but it's been a long time since the '70s.)

I like that makes me sound like an old blues guy - "Ladies and Gentelemen, the starlight lounge presents Smelly Ray and the poo tones" - that's a winner!

Thanks to all, please go buy a WAH, BFR AL & A sub if you can find one, and a mid 90's Amp from SOVTEK Made from bits of old planes never goes wrong either!

Could be The Stig and The Devil are one in the same. Speed and precision translate from the track to the fretboard and you know he doesn't wear a helmet and firesuit all the time.

Smelly good fun video. Nice gear and all that. I have to say your Sub sounded as professional and as good as your other guitar. Goes to show Sub guitars and basses were superb instruments. Well done.

Now.... having said all that I have enjoyed the vided but I am a lot more interested the video editing software that you've used.

I'd like to get something like that, what software is it, Pinnacle or else? Please do tell.

Thanks

Cheers, - It's just Windows Vista Movie Maker, some of the effects are quite pro - I have FX Home Vision Lab for the video I'll make of this years bash, but everything else is made on Vista,
