Thanks!

Yes, it really sounded good - - and big!!
BTW, the two folks in back were brass players. They just weren't playing when the photo was shot.

I love that bass! If mine got stolen or my house burnt down, that would likely be the finish/combo I'd replace it with.

I'll second that - really nice bass/ finish combo!
Really like the black PG as well - usually see this one w/tort (not a fan).

Looks GREAT!

In the first post's pics, it's got a black pearloid aftermarket pickguard, which looked pretty cool but I didn't like how the white ply below the top one was showing through the countersunk screw holes. The factory EBMM pg's don't do this. Plus, the natural / black / rosewood combo is more subtle and classic looking.

Thanks dude. The band sounded great that day through the huge PA (I saw a 12 space rack full of PA amps).

Yes sir! Expensive, but they're worth it.

Yea, I just put a set on my SUB5. I have much diggage for the Black Beauties, personally. I figured I'd wait until the Slinky's wore out that it came with. Gotta say a great string they are too, just a little too gritty feeling for my touch. The Black Beauties have a nice slick feel and a singing treble/mid punch that I really like.

Sweet! Thanks for sharing. I wish I could play and sing at the same time (do it well anyhow). :)
