I have an EB 20th Anniversary Silhouette that I am having some electronics issues with. It is somewhat loud with the amp and gets louder if I turn in the direction of the amp (hum sound). If I tap on the volume knob, I can here it rather loudly through the pickups. I checked the wiring in the cavity surrounding the volume pots, as well as the pickups and the bridge. All wiring appears to be in tact and all the grounds were attached properly. An ideas what could be causing this and how to remedy this? Thanks.

I had some similar issues with mine. In my case, it was the neck pickup that was the problem. Contact EB Customer Service. I sent it to them, and they fixed it up. It is better than ever now. They did a real quick turnaround and the cost was very reasonable.
