EB cables!

Well, a local store was blowing out the old EB cables super cheap (I assume to make room for those fancy new ones with the molded ends) so I bought 4 12' jobbies. All I can say is hot damn, why didn't I try these earlier? They're the best cables I've ever used!

Will the new ones be the same (apart from the ends obviously)? These things feel so great, and don't kink up at all- if the new line is made of the same material consider me a user for life!

I use EB extension cab cables and they're great. I like the clear and bold black and white distinctions of neg/pos. Plus they're fairly soft, low memory and easy to coil, like you said.

Compared to what? These are still the old ones spoken of here. User feedback on the new ones should be interesting.

Compared to whatever cable you were using before. I'm going on the theory that if the old EB cables made a noticeable sound difference then the new ones will not disappoint. I've been using Monster cables and heard how muddy my guitar really sounded when I AB'ed it with a Mogami cable. So if there's more clarity with the old EB cables I'll ditch the Mogami's and go straight for the new EBs.

I'm only using EB speaker cables, and I'm not a believer in high performance speaker cables. So long as the wire gage is stout enough, it should work fine. So to answer your question, they work as well as the others I have, except I like the outer material, flat design and marked positive and negative wires. The connectors are of good quality and easily repairable/replaceable. Oh, and the price was VERY competitive.

I use 10' Mogami Gold guitar cables, and like 'em, and yes, I instantly heard a difference in them. They seem utterly transparent, which I happen to like, though some may not.
