Greetings... I tried my first set of flatwounds, the EB Group II's (50,70,85,105) on an SR4. I'm used to the stock super slinkys (45-100). Anyhow, the transition to these is feeling quite odd due to size and flexibility. Would I be better off with Group III's - smaller guage? Any preferences, tips, on Group II vs, III? Oddly, my local GC does NOT stock the Group III's, only the II's. Thx...

Hey there, good to see someone else from Knoxvegas! Group IIIs will have more bendability to them from the lighter guage... Which personally I like. I admittedly don't use EB flats (sorry folks) but hear they are great for a more roundwoundy sounding flat (Aka brighter). And no, our GC doesn't carry a lot of things.

Nice collection of Balls BTW.
