Okay, I'll admit it. I started life as a guitarist before switching to bass in the mid-70's, and therefore always like to have a guitar on hand. Of course I get ill when I think of the 71 SG I sold for $200 in the late 70's. I've got a nice little Ibanez guitar on hand that I picked up in 93, but a few years ago I played an EB Axis, and dearest Lord Jesus, even I sounded good. It shouldn't surprise me that it's such a great instrument, but how many EBMM bass owners also own an EB guitar? It's on my list, but that HH Sterling's next.

Along with my Bongo and Stingray, I have a SUB1. Great axes. Will be joined by a HH stingray.

i have a Sterling and SR4 and a JP6 ... i really want an Axis SS but cant justify being a bassist and owning more guitars than basses.

Ive always thought that the axis neck kinda felt like mini sterling neck. its really awesome.
