First of all, sorry, but I have no pics.
Thanks to BP and the crew for having a booth at the Musikmesse Frankfurt again. For those who want to go there, it will be from yesterday until Saturday the 24.. It is located right next to the Markbass booth. I had the opportunity to try the new Cobalts on a Big Al. I also laid hands on a Gamechanger.
I think I recognized Derek from the pics here on the forums and had a nice conversation with the guitar player of Austria based artist Christina Stuermer (a quiet successful band singing in german language) about our experience with the roasted necks and our passion for Music Man instruments. He also talked about some future plans for the gamechanger that I am not sure about, so I'll keep that to myself.
Also there was the german endorser Lars Lehmann, who also tried the Cobalts for the first time.
All the Big Als and Bongos featured the new tuners. There also was a Stingray with a rosted neck with oil/wax finish that felt awesome. Interesting for the guys with the tiny strings was an all new guitar model with a set neck, factory wound pickups and an all new shape and design that was told to be the newest baby of Dudley. That thing looked very nice with a touch of a firebird to it.
Everyone was very nice and friendly and if you are at the Musikmesse, you should absolutely have a look.
