I've just got a Warwick Streamer Lx 5 strings.

What strings should i buy ? I play tuned one tone lower then normal
-Ernie Ball Power Slinky 50 70 85 105 135
or
-Ernie Ball Regular Slinky 45 65 80 100 130

Do they fit on my Warwick? I've heard that not any type of strings are suitable on Warwicks.

I can't comment on the gauge, but tapered B strings are the easiest to mount on the Warwick tailpiece. Not a huge problem though you must do 1 thing. Get a sturdy pair of pliers and squeeze the sh#! out of the wrapping where the string fits in the tailpiece, or it won't fit. I've found it necessary for the B and E strings only.

If you are dowtuning on a 5er, I would suggest going with the Power Slinkys. You'll have less trouble with tension (if there is going to be any trouble.)

Good point xring. Would the Power Slinkys even fit? The B is a .135 where as on the regular slinkys, B is .130.

I had to really squish a .130, so a .135 will be even tougher (maybe). The string wrap doesn't necessarily have to be larger in that area just because of the larger gauge. A regular pair of pliers won't do it. If a smaller head tool with a large gripping area is available for LOTS of leverage, I say go for it.;)
Oh yeah, and one more thing...Don't ever work "over" you bass with any tools. Too easy to drop!
