Ernie Ball | News

Ernie Ball/Music Man is proud to be partnering with Guitar Center to exhibit at The Great American Guitar Show in Philadelphia, PA on November 20th and 21st. With the Philadelphia show having one of the largest selections of vintage, one off, and custom instruments under one roof musicians and collectors alike travel from far and wide to attend the highly anticipated show.

The Ernie Ball/Music Man booth is certain to be turning quite a few heads with their collection of rare and limited edition Ball Family Reserve(BFR) instruments. Including the new line of highly figured roasted maple necks; featuring a BFR inlay, ebony fretboard, and black sugar finish. The roasted necks add dimensional stability and extra resistance to temperature and humidity changes; while also adding resonance and reducing damping. Music Man will also be opening the companies vault to offer some great rare and one of a kind BFR Music Man pieces as well as unveiling the 2011 Classic Collection Series colors.

If you are the musician thats always looking for a good deal you definitely will want to make sure to stop by the Ernie Ball booth; strings and accessories will be offered at huge discounts. You can also get a chance to demo the new, highly anticipated Gigbag Amp that Ernie Ball partnered on with Marshall Amplification. Guitar Center just realeased the Ernie Ball Gigbag Amp as one of their featured holiday items for 2010. For more information on The Great American Guitar Show log onto Bee 3 Vintage - Guitar Shows

You will see the new colors in Philly!
I know you aren't necessarily referring to the Bongo, but is it too early to at least tell us IF there will be new colors for the Bongo in 2011.

I want to get a back-up 5HHp, and if there are no new color options, I'm going to get my order in now, otherwise I'll wait. Either way I'm getting a backup, but there may be an interesting color on the horizon...

BP,

I am looking forward to the new Classics colors coming out but please continue to make the black colored Classics. After my Roasted is paid off, my next bass is a Black Classic with Black pickguard and birdseye maple neck.
