Just wanted to give a big shout out to the Ernie Ball International Support staff, specifically Nathan!
They really helped me out recently.
I bought an old Volume Pedal on ebay - got it at a good price as the pot (CLAROSTAT) was unsuable. I bought a replacement pot and cord kit, which retored the sound, but the oedal wouldnt return to min vol properly. It would "spring up" every so slighty.
I dissassembled the pedal and discovered that several of the nylon and rubber parts were worn from years of use. The pedal needed a rebuild; however, this service is not offerred to non-US customers. I couldnt find any parts suppliers in the UK. I was gutted that the pedal was potentially useless.
As a last resort I contacted EB direct via email; Nathan responded that same night and quickly organised for replacement parts to be sent to me in the UK.
I just rebuilt the pedal last night and couldnt be more pleased!! The travel is now fine. I also added a 220K parallel resistor to the pot to match the taper on my VP JR which I prefer.
From what i read, there are mixed opinions on the volume pedals. However, I rely on them 100% and from my recent experience the EB customer service is excellent!!
EB are professionals!
Thanks again Nathan!!

(Thanks for the stickers as well!!)
By the way - I now conisder myself a "pratitioner" at dissassembling/diagnosing/fixing these pedals. If anyone needs any advice then let me know!!
