I currently have a Weeping Demon, but I'm looking for a new wah for several reasons:

-When I want to use it for riffing, I have to set it on the low range setting, which in turn causes the wah to have little to no effect on the higher strings

-When I set it on the normal range setting, it gives me the expressiveness I need on the higher octaves, but then when I use it on lower strings its waaaaay too bright and piercing.

-The autoswitch feature on the pedal is cool, but when I take my foot off there's a second delay or so in switching off, which can be inconvenient.

-When not in autoswitch there's a little pedal to the side that engages it on and off (inconvenient when I need quick changes)

-Doesn't really have the range I want

-Doesn't work so well in high gain situations

So my main question pretty much is, will the EB wah address my concerns? (Specifically my last 2 points)

I have the EB Wah, and although I haven't used it as much as I should, it has great range and sounds good in high gain situations. This is my opinion at least.

I'll probably get crucified for this around here...but based on what you are asking for, I'd also reccomend checking out the Wizard Wah by Teese.
