Sorry, didn't see the other thread on this :p

He also posted a response to my message but not my message itself explaining how definitely fake it is.

I don't have an ebay account....

Can someone ask him if the guitar has binding? If it doesn't, it sure points to being an OLP body to me. I gotta laugh at his insistance that those are not decals. I'm able to apply fake decals and 10 coats of clear too.......doesn't make it an EVH. And the neck plate (which would have the serial number) is convienantly missing? Come on.

It's an OLP all done up!

This is just an OLP. The neck plate (or where it used to be) is a dead give away. I was looking at my girlfriends and they both have the same tuners, save the pearloid buttons which are easily bought, the switch is that of a Gibson which the OLPs had, and the neck looks about the same quality of wood as my girlfriends guitar. I bet someone sanded the headstock front and back, found some ghetto decals and slapped them on there. If you look at the back of the headstock you can see that the finish looks a little messed up which makes me think that they just did a poor sand job on the back. That has to be an OLP.
