i was just wondering does EB use the buzz feiten tuning system on their instruments? i have been reading up on the buzz feiten and earvana retrofitting nuts (hahah) and was wondering if i should get my jpm done? I have an Ibanez artist that i was going to do my "test" on but idk, is it worth it? I always have thought that the standard open A chord in the 2nd position was never in tune ( the C# on the B string ) it never sounded right to me... so to avoid that clash in my ears i have always played A2 instead. i have noticed it in other places as well but i cant really remember off the top of my head. I just dont want to get my petrucci in a couple weeks and have that problem haha. I mean i know they are the best out there for the money but ... the thought of getting the buzz fieten tuning system on a brand new guitar, just out of the factory bugs me. Just wondering what you guys think,

thanks

God bless,

Tony

I've had a few Tom Anderson guitars with that system and to tell you the truth I wasn't sure if it was the system or just an extremely well built guitar. What I mean is that I've had some guitars before that were really well built without the BF system and I couldn't tell the difference. I'm sure there is something to it but I have four guitars right now without it and they all have very good intonation. Enough for me never to mess with it. Hows that saying go......."if it ain't broke don't fix it!".........but what the hell do i know....;)
