last year I was pulling out of the parking lot of the guitar shop where I teach/work and this was next to me for a few blocks............

and in person the thing IS desert gold, gorgeous!
I have tried to pry it from BP before to see if they do get some paint ideas from what's hot in the automotive realm but I don't think I ever got a straight answer. It would make sense though, especially for the Bongos seeings as their lines suit the comparison.

Almost Did the Same

My Ford died in January. I almost bought I buttercream PT Cruiser, thinking its the coolest gig car with EB basses in the back. Common sense finally ruled and I settled on a Toyota. The only thing I'll buy American nowadays is an EB bass.:)
