Last Saturday at the end of the wedding party I was packing my gear and just put my bass in the EBMM case, put it off on the floor, at that moment drunk young Lady approached to me with bottle full of wine in hers hand  and than suddenly she dropped a bottle direct near my bass case!

The case was 50% splashed with white wine :( ...after few seconds of shock I ran to the toilette, took some paper towels and quickly wiped off as much as possible wine I could!
Than left it to dry few minutes and took it to the car on some fresh morning air!

After few minutes I opened the case carefully and everything was perfectly OK, no wine smell, no wine drops inside, all clear, all dry! :)

Thanks EBMM for durable and "wine proof" :D cases! ;)

OMG, what a faux pas. Everyone knows EBMMs are supposed to be enjoyed with red wine. This is an outrage.

You must play some classy places if there are paper towels in the toilets. Some of the bars I play at don't even have mirrors in the male toilets - there is a stainless steel sheet instead on the wall above the sinks, less chance of being used as a weapon.

Actually this was a classy place and wedding too, but we also play sometimes in dirty village places..., but that's life!

No pics, no drunk chick. So what happened to her?

Oh she's fine for sure, she was actually godmother of the bride :D ...I'm sure that in every day life she's just an ordinary person!
That was just an accident!

Unfortunately have no pics, I was to busy with performance, except this cell phone shoot of the stage after sound-check:

This "bottle crash" happen near this right subwoofer on this pic!

+1 more for the quality of the standard E.B cases.

Just got back England with my stingray this morning, i was planning to carry it on as hand luggage but the airline said no to large, so i had to check it in as excess baggage and leave it in the hands of baggage handlers, so i tagged it, put a few "fragile handle with care stickers" on it, payed the excess fee, sent it on its way and hoped for the best.

Upon getting it back some 10+ hrs later with a connecting flight the only damage was to the stickers on the case.

Soon as i got it home the first thing i did was plug it in to check it over, checked the tuning to my electric tuner and it was still PERFECTLY in tune let alone damaged in any way!!
Cant complain at that, i was debating splashing out on a flight case (still might in the future) but for now the stock case has done its job just fine!
