M'kay, we all know what earworms are. They're those tunes (usually really obnoxious) that you just can't get out of your head. The mere mention of the name of one is enough to send you running away, screaming...so I won't torture anyone by setting one off. (I'm SO tempted, though...beware, or I might unleash the curse.)

This evil thing I've brought into my life, da Bongo, has gotten into my head in exactly the same way. It's driving me nuts. All I can think about is how great it sounds. I'm sure it's just the honeymoon thing, but I keep on wanting to play it just to hear that sound. Pavlov's dog, that's me. Last night my band had our second practice with da Bongo, and all I can say is that I was feeling the love. Many grins, all around.

It's all good...but I'm at work this weekend, trying to get something done for a good client, and it's hard to focus because I keep hearing this boombastic throbuphonic thumpulicious tastyness in my head. DAMMIT!

You're lucky, bub. I've got "Dora the Explorer" songs stuck in my head.

Oh, don't get me started. I have the ability, with a few keystrokes, to make the reader's life a living HELL of catchy, awful pop tunes that are as hard to eradicate as cockroaches. You HAVE been warned!

PS: I also have a guaranteed cure that can eliminate any earworm. But it'll cost ya.

That's exactly how I feel about the Stingray I just got. The power, the tone, the sustain, I just can't believe it. Every time I play it, it has me grinning from ear to ear.
