This is more for jon but others can chime in. it was said that when EVH first started talking to eb that they made him a silo guitar with stripes and he said that is not what i want. now look in this picture. the seventh guitar from the left has a ebmm headstock. could this be that guitar. i have never seen a clear picture of it and it was only mentioned in a interview.

Yeah, I see it. If you look at the Baretta looking striped guitar right in the center hanging lowest, it's to the left of it. It looks like a 4x2 headstock for sure. Really hard to tell what the body is for sure, but it does seem to have a longer upper horn than a Kramer or a regular Strat cut. Could very well be some kind of Silo prototype.

good god! they should call you "J Carrot Alexander"! that's hardcore. if you hadn't pointed out, I never would have seen it. it certianly does look like a sil in some respects. neat.

ahh... but can anyone identify the one directly to the alleged silo's left? if I was guessing, I'd say it was one of those dreadful Alvarez electrics from about the same time period of the EVH MM....

It's an Alvarez Dana neck for sure. Who the hell knows what kind of body it is. It probably is one of those bodies with the lower horn cut all the way behind the neck. Wish I could see the whole body.

My computer refuses to go to that site, so I haven't seen the picture you're talking about- BUT, I know which guitar you are referring to, and I have a picture. I'll get somebody to scan it and post tomorrow.

Cheers!

Thanx Dudley, and please keep on posting pics on a weekly basis.
Prototypes , one offs, and specials . I loved the pink Silo you´ve posted a time ago. We would love to see such a sticky thread. :)
Thank you

The 4th one from the left is an EBMM EVH guitar.

These pics were taken during the Poundcake sessions shortly after ED started endorsing EBMM.....the guitar in question is also another EVH model.

He proabbaly butchered a dozen guitars including his EBMMs and this is one but it is more than likely an EBMM EVH neck with a Kramer body.

well the upper horn looks alot bigger then the kramers, also the body is shorter if you look at the other ones. those pics are above ed's garage and i dont know what time frame they were taking. we will have to see what dudley posts as far as his pic and this one.
