So I have searched and gathered as much info as I can.

I would like the recessed switches for the Piezo and pickup selector and knobs but am confused, am I better off with a different model, family reserve etc.

Is there any difference in 2015 and up?
I think I want a
Used JP6
Neck Thru
Recessed switches
JP tremelo
Big cutaway on top
Boost and split coil
Rainmaker/Dreamcatcher
Locking Tuners
6 strings w SS frets

but
I've been to Ernie Ball's site, some other website which didn't shed any light, and JP interview with Nick Bowcott?

Is there any place that can give complete information on older models or can someone here help me out?

Thanks
KC

Thanks wannarock. You are correct. I am a little lost because there are some many varieties of JP guitars.
I am primarily a blues player and rock player that was looking for another multi toned guitar, with bottoms that stay clean if I roll back the tone, and warm high gain to add to the herd.
My Variax does not handle the acoustic well, although it is great for changing tuning on the fly.
When I saw a few Demo recordings I knew I had to have one.

I had hoped I might find a JP with a Sustainiac like my Schecter, but with the neck thru and the boost on the Majesty 6, from what I've seen that should handle the job.
I am close to closing on a Majesty 6 Enchanted Forest, because I see an open box at a reasonable price.

There was someone on here that had a spreadsheet that broke down the JP differences. Use the search function and see if you can find it. Start with JP differences.

Good luck, Glenn |B)

Crossroads, here is the chart I've refered to many times throughout the years. It appears to be updated as of the current models. Good luck with your hunt!
