Ball Family Reserve | Ernie Ball Music Man ---> scroll to the bottom of the page for a calendar of events.

I see a blurry picture of what it looks like a JP model (it's hard to tell), in either a burl top or natural wood. April 18. We will see what BP has in store for us all. Start saving now!

Hope you're right, but to me the body seems too wide to be a JP model...more likely an Axis or something. The one to the left of it looks like a cherry burst Majesty or something similar.

Hahaha, I really wish but it's an Axis actually.

Those are the models Pete DuBaldo uploaded on a thread relative to the Dealers' Room in NAMM 2017. The models that would be produced according to the quantity ordered by the dealers that day.

Truly thanks Mariner, as this is truly a Mexican stand-off with Time =D

Some of the 25 have already been sold, and I'm quite sure the rest will be gone in no time.

All the luck in getting a 7-string!!

The one in April 2018 is the Sahara Burst Majesty and the one in December 2017 (top guitar) is the Tobacco Burst Majesty. Sisters to the Trans Brown that has already been offered. There is also the Gold Sparkle Majesty featured in March 2018.

I am wondering whether we should make a formal request from Big Poppa for an EBMM JP15 w/ Buckeye Burl Maple Top on the USA/EU side.

If 25 is what is needed, it might not be that difficult.

I think...

If he would be up for it Im sure that would be easy to sell.

Good eye pinpointing these models to be the ones from the room :)

As for saving, I'm patiently waiting to see if this JP8 ever becomes a thing...

I'm not BP, but watashi wa nihongo o hanashimasu (I lived in northern Japan for three years in the early 90s and was fluent at the time).

If anybody needs a hand in translation to procure one of these, let me know and will help all I can! :)

Probably an 8-string Majesty, no..? =D

Stands to reason that's possible - but the neck length would have to be changed; 25.5 works ok for a 7 string, but is too short to handle the lower string of an 8. That makes me curious as to whether that would mean a different variation of the guitar, either back to JP6-like roots but extended neck, or perhaps a fanned neck? A guy can dream. In any case, hope we hear more about it soon.
