Hi,

Not sure if anyone from Music Man actually reads these posts however I will post here regardless.

I bought an EBMM JP6 in Sapphire Black the first week of March. The guitar ended up having a twisted neck. Ernie Ball made a replacement neck for me about 6 weeks later. I now have a twist in this neck I suspect which I will have verified by a tech. I am wondering what could be done if it is the case that it is indeed twisted? I am not doing anything abnormal to the guitar when I am not playing it, its in the the case in my apartment. I want to love this guitar but at the same time I am starting to get a "sour taste in my mouth" so to speak. I have never had any problems like this with any other guitar that I have owned (ended up selling to get this one). I really do not want to wait another 6 weeks for another neck, I have only had this in my possession for about two weeks for the time I have owned it...

Any input or feedback would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum, David! What part of the world are you in?

Certainly you need to contact the store you bought from and EBMM customer service, just as you would have done the first time. Obviously there is nothing we can do here on the forum, we're just fans.

One twisted neck is very unusual. Two twisted necks one after the other is of course statistically possible but exceptionally rare and would be the worst possible luck. Why do you think it is twisted? What specifically are the symptoms?

I am in Alberta Canada. Just like the first time the bass side of the guitar is buzzy while playing while the treble side is not. Also like the first time it appears the bass side has a bump in the neck while the treble side is bowed back. I am not a trained tech however so I will have it verified for sure today. I do have horrible luck so it wouldn't suprize me in the slightest

Did you open it up and start playing as soon as you received it with the new neck?

The neck was shipped to the shop where I got the guitar where I left it overnight for them to install the neck and set up the guitar again and I picked the guitar up in the afternoon the following day

Yes extremely rare. It's not unusual for the bass side to buzz as the strings are thicker and vibrate more. I'm sure AJ will get you straightened out.
