Hi

One of these small solid steel saddles came off from my JP6. Are these things glued in place? Should i glue it back?
I dont have piezo in my JP6.

Are Elixir nanoweb 10-52 strings good for this guitar in Eb tuning? When using arm or bending it goes out of pitch. I have bridge plate perfectly straight and parallel with the body. Intonation is perfect and the nut is slippery. Neck has little relie(good to play).

What is wrong with this brand new guitar?

Sorry my bad english.

If you bought it from a dealer....you need to take it back to them first. If you cannot do that...contact Customer Service. BTW...EBMM strings are best for the guitar...IMHO.

I use 10-52 on my JPX in standard, they feel great and I have no tuning problems. Are you stretching the strings before play? I know Elixirs take a long time to stretch out.

Use whatever string you like, it just happens that I prefer Ernie Ball, but that's not out of loyalty, haha, I just prefer them.

I sent this same message to CS but it would be nice to hear what kind of discussion this leads to.

Why the g-string doesn't stay in tune after bending?
Power chord like G5 or D5 with open g-string doesn't sound good.
Example when I play D5 chord G-string is slight flat when pressing on to 2nd fret. Or it's little sharp when i play G5 chord 2nd string pressed down in 3rd fret.
String gets back in tune when using tremolo bar.

Is it string gauge issue/too low tension?
I have understanded that Petrucci plays pretty thin string set in standard E and stays in tune.

I have my JP6 in standard in Eb tuning and i am using elixir 10-52 strings.
E - 1st .010
B - 2nd .013
G - 3rd .017
D - 4th .032
A - 5th .042
E - 6th .052

It would be nice to be in tune when playing all kinds of licks/stuff.

Sorry my bad english.

I have to go straight out so can't spend too much time at the mo.
Search on my posts in the last couple of months and I posted tips about setting up a JP6 trem.

I'll call back later (after rehearsal funnily enough with my JP6) ;)

I have tried almost everything. Sometimes after bend it stays in tune.
What if i add more relief to the neck?
