Hey guys!

After more than a year I'm still in love with my JP7, it plays and sounds like nothing else!
I've installed the Bareknuckle Cold Sweat set a couple of months ago and as you might hear it can do a lot of things pretty well! You will see her in action more while we span the DT discography coming months.

About the Band:
My band Panic Attack has been together for about two years, playing Dream Theater songs in any club or venue that will have us :D We are all avid DT fans and supporters!
However, since I'm currently on a research internship in England, we won't be able to perform. And after losing our lead singer, we decided to hit the Tubes!
This is the first of a monthly series of Dream Theater Tributes. Hope you guys like it!

The gear used:
EBMM JP7 (BKP Cold Sweat set)
Mesa Boogie Recording Rectifier for crunch
Rocktron Chameleon for clean and solo
MOTU Microbook II

No plugins used in Cubase, this is it

Thanks for watching and playing these amazing instruments, it's a nice family in here :)

Nice man! Love that tune.

Just wondering - you say you have your Recto recording pre going pretty much straight in. Are you using any plugins or anything for cab simulation?

Anyway, great playing man. Your band sounds tight!

Thank a lot guys, glad to hear you like it!
The way we record these songs is first the drums in the rehearsal rooms. The drummer plays along the original record.
And the rest of the band uses the drums as the lead part to record along with.

@dkannen: Yes, I didn't use any plugins or cab simulation with the Recto. It's a pretty dry signal, but when double tracked, it sounds massive :) Settings were nothing special (G:7, T:6, M: 5, B:5, Pr: 7), but I have to check if you want to be sure.
